New podcast categories announced for Australian Radio AwardsMarch 2018
Three new podcast categories have been introduced for the 2018 Australian Commercial Radio Awards to celebrate the best original podcasts produced in Australia.

Radio broadcasters from around Australia will celebrate 30 years of the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday, October 20.

2GB broadcaster, Ray Hadley has become the most celebrated radio announcer in the history of the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs), this year winning the Best Talk Presenter, Best Sports Event Coverage, Best On-Air Team (Metro AM), as part of the Continuous Call Team and an induction into the Hall of Fame, taking his total awards to 30 throughout his 36-year radio career.

Ray Hadley, one of Australia’s most successful news, sport and talkback presenters and the humorous and quick-witted radio broadcaster, journalist and television presenter Amanda Keller, were tonight inducted into the Commercial Radio Hall of Fame at the 29th annual Australian Commercial Radio Awards.  In front of more than 1000 industry peers, 2GB’s Ray Hadley and WSFM’s Amanda Keller were both recognised for their outstanding lifetime achievement and contribution to the radio broadcasting industry.

Chris Taylor and Andrew Hansen, best known as members of the comedy group The Chaser, will host the 29th annual Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) in Melbourne, for the second year running.
